Register at EasterSeals.org/AGM by Thursday, May 31, 2025. Once registered, you will receive a link to the Zoom meeting at the beginning of June.
Changing Your Name in Zoom
Step 1 – Click on PARTICIPANTS in the Zoom toolbar at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2 – In the participant list select your name and click on the “…” (Three dot button).
Step 3 – Click on Rename.
Step 4 – A new box will appear. Put in your full name so we can easily identify you during the meeting. Click on CHANGE.
Microphone/Video Test
You can test your computer’s audio setup (speakers and microphone) at any time using the official Zoom Test.
Mute
We ask that all attendees MUTE themselves during the presentation to avoid unnecessary background noise and if preferred, do not click Start Video if you do not wish to be seen by other participants.
Click the MUTE button (and the Stop Video button if desired) in the bottom left corner.
Speaking
If you are a Voting Member, Scholarship Recipient or Volunteer Award winner and you have confirmed that you will be speaking, please ensure that your microphone and/or video is working. We will be providing an Order of Business for attendees who have been invited to speak so that they are aware of the order of the agenda.
If you happen to be accidentally muted when it is your turn to speak, our host will give you a nudge to UNMUTE. (See above to mute/unmute)
Comments/Questions/Chat
For anyone wishing to comment or raise a question, please use the chat function. Click the CHAT button on the bottom toolbar to open up the chat window. Your messages will appear to every one in the meeting by default or you can choose a specific participant to send a message to.
